Raffle Winners

One of the ways our club raises funds to support sending kids to MUCC camp and other conservation efforts is by having several of our members (8-10 boats usually) volunteer to take a lucky winner (s) out for a day of fishing, mostly for Walleye on Lake Erie, but sometimes for Salmon as well.

The raffle tickets are sold starting Jan1 at the various spring shows our club participates in, and until our April Membership meeting. The drawing is held during our April membership meeting, which is the third Thursday of the month.

Once the winner's name is drawn, the Raffle Coordinator matches the winner (s) with a Club member who volunteered, then lets the Captain and winner make the schedule for the fishing trip. The number of guests you may bring along is dependant on the size of the boat, usually 2-3 total which includes yourself.

This trip shouldn't be confused or described in any way as a Chartered Fishing Trip. Our members are pretty good fisherman, but we make no guarantee's on catch quantity.

Fishing Trip Raffle winners are responsible for their own licenses, food, beverage, and travel/hotel arrangements to the agreed upon trip.
