Boat Trip Raffle Details

  • One of the ways our club raises funds in the past to support sending kids to MUCC camp and other conservation efforts was by having several of our members volunteer to take a lucky winner (s) out for a day of fishing.  Due to the ever changing legal environment, we have changed how we are doing the raffle starting in 2009.

  • There are 7 winners to be drawn this year all for trips on Lake Erie.

  • There are four fully licensed, inspected, and insured charter Captains who have agreed to participate and support our raffle this year (click on their name to go to their web page). A description of the raffle trip available on each boat is as described.

  • We are assuming that winners will be grouped on the same trip and not separate trips.

  • The raffle tickets are sold starting Jan8th, 2009 at the various spring shows our club participates in, and until our April Membership meeting. The drawing is held during our April membership meeting, which is the third Thursday of the month, need not be present to win.

  • Once the winner's name is drawn, the Raffle Coordinator matches the winner (s) with the Charter who volunteered, notifies the winners and captain, then lets the Captain and winner (s) make the schedule for the fishing trip. The number of guests you may bring along is 2 total which includes yourself, unless noted otherwise.

  • Fishing Trip Raffle winners are responsible for their own licenses, appropriate taxes where applicable, food, beverage, and travel/hotel arrangements to the agreed upon trip.

Ray Marine S1000 Auto Pilot Raffle Details

  • Tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20

  • The raffle tickets are sold starting Jan18th, 2009  at the various spring shows our club participates in, club meetings and until our April Membership meeting. The drawing is to be held during our Fish Fry July 16th, 2009 or once all 1,000 tickets are are sold, whichever comes first.

  • Raffle winners are responsible for any  taxes where applicable.

Thank you to all the club members who worked the shows and who helped sell tickets and made this years raffle a big success.   Also, thanks go out to the captains who are donating their boats and time to take out the winners.
